A Crisis to come?

For some years ago, perhaps around 2018-19 there was a lot of fuss in the alt media world that the economic system we were currently in and using, was standing a near crash. Big crash! I guess it’s with the fiat currency and the so called petrodollar. 

It would crash within a near future and you better get your money and assets out of the system in it’s whole. The quicker the better so you wouldn’t get drawn into it. Or down with it. 

A System of Debt

There was a saying that the economic system we now have is built on debt and was inevitable to crash very soon due to heavy interest costs. It was a mathematic equation that wouldn’t end up well for the little person, especially for the once with savings in the current fiat based system, which is most of us “deadly”, common people. 

Taking Action

So I got big parts of our savings out of stock, funds and such. Bought some gold as well, which also were recommended in alt media. 

Thought I was a clever dude that had some kind of ”more” info than everybody else. Not only my own assets but also my wife’s as well. It was not any bigger amounts but a fun bit for a workers account. 

Where Did It Go?

So, the time for where the so called crisis should appear came. And passed. 

Heard nothing about any crash of anything. 

What I (we) did hear was how stocks and real estate had gone skyrocket about the same period of time. The gold as we did invest some in was rather going back a little at the same time. 

Mistakes Of Life…

And wow, did I feel so stupid? So there we were, with a “slight” draw back with our savings, looking at others, discussing their well done investments in funds and such, with an ROI on perhaps 20-50 percent over an other year or so. 

So why did I believe in these ”stupid” advices? Well I can tell you that I’ll be more careful and critical in future. 

Something Is Wrong

However. I do believe we are very much living in an unsustainable financial system. The problem is to calculate when it’s going south for real. 

So when it’s actually going to crash, nobody can ever tell. But I do believe we do need a new system to use.  A system in it self I believe is a prerequisite to having a fair society. Problem is who’s running it. 

Well.. Past year the gold price has gone up 20-30% which is no bad news for the ones having some =) 

From what I’ve heard, and it does make sense, it’s that the once pulling the strings and controlling the system is doing everything to prevent a total system failure. It probably will fail eventually. But as long as the once controlling the system can still keep it alive, they are making big profits within it.
