The expected expert.
I’m sure we’ve all been hearing that ”everybody’s good at something”.
And if you go into the online business world, you’re expected to be an ”expert” in something.
Your big topic. A niche only you can master.
Do I have an expertis?
Okey.. so what’s my expertise? Let.. me.. think..
Well, I can do ”x” and ”y” and ”z”.
And I do know a little about ”a-b-c” as well, and I really like ”d-e-f”. But an expert?
Absolutely not.
Somebody else will know so much more about it. And this trend goes right through my life. I don’t feel like an expert at anything.
Literally.
So how on earth am I supposed to make an online business happen with nothing to offer?
Let’s turn the question around. Am I an expert in being a nobody?
Am I supposed to settle with that?
So I could just stop at that point and realize I am a nobody. Go to my job and be happy about it. Settle with being mediocre. I mean, sure, it could be worse.
Yeah…
But.. I have a website that I once named ”Why Settle?”
So, why settle?
There must be something I’m better at?!
So, except for my job, I’m a bit of a thinker. Daydreamer. Philosopher. Whatever you want to call it.
And I love writing! Not meaning the actual pencil.
Typing down storys and thoughts. Do I have a degree in it? Haha, no.
Have I ever published anything? Well, yeah, here. But how many finds it here?
So not really.
Can I monetize my thoughts?
So can I make money on it? I don’t know.
How to make money on being an expert in nothing?
That question remains to be answered.
